KCM Compensating Power
Chucks, are designed to meet the need for accurate chucking
of irregular parts. KCM Compensating Chucks have up to .125”
total compensation and a choice of solid or spring-loaded
centers.
Compensating Chuck accuracy depends on a number of conditions: tail-stock pressure, condition of center point, quality of center hole in part, chuck lubrication, tool pressure, etc
